Las Vegas – Summit-Tek is pleased to announce Michael Daigle as our Senior Director, Central Region.  Mr. Daigle joins Summit-Tek with a wealth of executive leadership experience from the private sector and the U.S. government. Prior to joining Summit-Tek, Mr. Daigle was the Chief Security Officer for Stewart & Stevenson, LLC, and Director of Global Security for Wood Group Mustang, Inc., both Houston-based companies.

Mr. Daigle retired from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a senior manager.  Mr. Daigle has served in critical positions, including Deputy Special Agent in Charge for the CBP Office of Internal Affairs.  Mr. Daigle also served as Acting Division Director for the U.S. Customs Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

Mr. Daigle has worked extensively with the private sector to address the ever-growing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Copyright infringement issues with imports from China and elsewhere.

As a veteran, Mr. Daigle retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves with the rank of Lieutenant Commander, having served as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).  Mr. Daigle was mobilized following the 9/11 terrorist attacks for a one-year deployment in support of Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom.  He was awarded a Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal and a Global War on Terrorism Medal for outstanding performance in counter-intelligence and national security investigations.

Mr. Daigle is a graduate of Harvard University – John F. Kennedy School of Government, Senior Executive Fellows program, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
