Job Title: Instructional System Designers
Location: Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
The Instructional System Designer (ISD) will apply adult learning theory, including the ADDIE model to Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate curriculum for the client. Responsibilities will include job task analysis to identify training needs at different stages of career development. In addition, ISD(s) will analyze training needs, create terminal and enabling learning objectives, select learning strategies and delivery systems, develop training content, implement training, and conduct evaluations of the training. ISD(s) should have familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model for evaluations and develop Level I/II/III surveys. ISD(s) will be responsible for developing training solutions for Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Web-Based Training (WBT), and blended learning (both synchronous and asynchronous) in a variety of authoring tools and Blackboard.
The ISD(s) – also referred to as Instructional System Specialists – ISSs follow a systematic instructional systems design process as detailed in the client’s Training Division’s Technical Manual for Training Development. Following the ADDIE model, the ISD(s) are tasked with ensuring alignment between identified job tasks, learning objectives, and assessment items and participate in the curriculum/test validation process to ensure learning objectives are met and measurable.
Required Basic Qualifications:
– Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Instructional System Designer (ISD)
– BS/BA degree
– Active Top-Secret Clearance Required
